An AI-focused technology tour was held on Wednesday, September 4, at Kermanshah Science and Technology Park, bringing together university professors, students, and members of the province’s academic community. The event aimed to familiarize participants with technological and innovation capabilities, as well as the achievements of knowledge-based companies and technology-driven enterprises active in the field of artificial intelligence.
Jahan Foulad Gharb University of Applied Science and Technology actively participated in the event, with a group of the center’s officials, professors, and students joining other members of the province’s academic community in visiting the achievements and capabilities of knowledge-based companies.
The tour focused on introducing students to technological achievements and capabilities, as well as companies active in the field of artificial intelligence. Participants gained first-hand insight into the processes of idea development, technology advancement, product commercialization, and the opportunities available to turn knowledge and skills into employment opportunities through team building and the establishment of technology-driven enterprises.
The event also highlighted the importance of effective collaboration among academia, industry, and the technology ecosystem. Such collaboration can play an important role in identifying student talent, strengthening practical skills, and preparing students to enter the labor market.
Mr. Badie Sanayei, Director of the Jahan Foulad Gharb Innovation Center, and Dr. Heydari, Head of Jahan Foulad Gharb University of Applied Science and Technology, also attended the tour. Alongside professors and students, they visited the technology-driven companies and innovation facilities based at the Science and Technology Park.
The participation of the Director of the Jahan Foulad Gharb Innovation Center brought greater attention to student employment and professional development. Key topics included identifying opportunities, researching and acquiring the skills required by the technology sector, teamwork, and establishing technology-focused teams and enterprises with the support of the Science and Technology Park.
