About University
The Applied Science and Technology Educational Center of Jahan Foulad Gharb Company was inaugurated in September 2023 (Mehr 1402) with the presence of the Governor’s Deputy for Economic Affairs, the President of the University of Applied Science and Technology, the Director General of Industry, Mining, and Trade of Kermanshah Province, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shokri Group, and the board members and CEOs of the subsidiaries of the Shokri Industrial Group in the university’s building located within the Shokri Group.
Creating a real connection between the university and industry through the establishment of the comprehensive applied science and technology educational center of the Shokri Industrial Group is a turning point in the history of the province, and it is fitting that this model be implemented in all industries and sectors of the province
Educating and recruiting students trained at the university with the aim of creating employment for them is one of the objectives of establishing this center.
This center began its activities in the first semester with two fields of study: Technical Associate Degree in Metallurgy – Steel Rolling and Metallurgy Technology Engineering – Metal Smelting With the cooperation of the university center for the second semester, other fields were added, including Technical Associate Degree in Occupational Safety and Technical Protection and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Technology
With the quantitative and qualitative development of this educational center, the number of fields of study increased for September 2024 (Mehr 1403) and includes the following fields.
