The welcome ceremony for new students of applied science universities in Kermanshah Province, as part of the national program “The Largest Student Camp,” was held on November 8, 2025, exclusively for applied science universities of the province at the Shaheed Bahonar Educational-Camp Complex, Sarab Qanbar, Kermanshah.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Shafiei, President of the Applied Science University of the Province, emphasized the skill-oriented mission of the university and highlighted the importance of market-driven training in empowering students. He noted that the applied science university, by providing skill-based platforms, strives to prepare students for effective entry into industrial and professional fields.

In another part of the ceremony, Dr. Soleimani, Vice President for Education of the university, explained the student regulations and rules and reminded new students of the importance of familiarizing themselves with the educational structure and university policies.
Additionally, Dr. Heidari, Head of the Applied Science Center of Jahan Foulad Gharb, and Dr. Zarei, Head of Education at the Shokri Industrial Group, attended along with a group of students. They participated in various program sections, engaged in specialized discussions, and introduced the university’s skill development opportunities.
According to the event planning committee, each day of this national event is dedicated to a specific university, and November 8 was specially allocated to the applied science universities of Kermanshah Province. On this day, students participated in a series of cultural, sports, and skill-based programs, fostering interaction and creating a friendly atmosphere among the different centers.
The ceremony was held to strengthen the university spirit, enhance cultural vitality, and outline the skill development path for students of the 2025–2026 academic year.
