As part of the ceremony commemorating Industry and Mine Day in Kermanshah Province, Jahan Foulad Gharb, a member of the Shokri Industrial Group, was recognized and honored as the province’s Model Industrial Unit for 2026.
The ceremony was held on Thursday, September 10, with the participation of Dr. Manouchehr Habibi, Governor of Kermanshah; Dr. Abdolreza Mesri, Representative of Kermanshah Province; Mr.Sahlabadi, President of the Iran House of Industry, Mining and Trade; Mr. Jahanbakhsh Shokri, President of the Kermanshah House of Industry, Mining and Trade; members of the Kermanshah House of Industry, Mining and Trade Board of Directors; Dr. Rostamzad, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs; representatives of the people of Kermanshah in the Islamic Consultative Assembly; executives of government agencies; labor and employers’ associations; and a number of industrialists and mine operators from the province. The event was held at the conference hall of the Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
Jahan Foulad Gharb is one of the manufacturing companies within the Shokri Industrial Group. Leveraging hot-rolling technology and state-of-the-art equipment, the company produces a range of steel sections. With an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons, it specializes in manufacturing IPE, IPN, and H-beams, with its products used across various segments of the construction industry and civil engineering projects.
By expanding its steel product portfolio and focusing on improving quality and production standards, Jahan Foulad Gharb has in recent years not only supplied part of the domestic market’s needs but also maintained a strong presence in export markets, establishing itself as one of the prominent steel producers in western Iran.
The selection of Jahan Foulad Gharb as the province’s Model Industrial Unit for 2026 by the Kermanshah Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization reflects the company’s production capacity, technical capabilities, and position within the steel industry and the development of the province’s production chain.
During the ceremony, Mr. Mostafa Ahmadipour, CEO of Jahan Foulad Gharb, was also honored with a commemorative statue and certificate of appreciation in recognition of the company’s performance and efforts to expand its industrial and production activities.
This valuable recognition is the result of the efforts of Jahan Foulad Gharb’s management team, engineers, specialists, and employees in expanding production, improving product quality, strengthening domestic and export markets, and playing an effective role in Kermanshah Province’s steel industry.
