Jahan Foulad Gharb Complex is introduced in the 2026 Iran Steel Yearbook as one of the active companies of the Shokri Industrial Group in the field of hot rolling and steel product manufacturing. The complex is considered one of the key units in the group’s steel value chain in Kermanshah Province.
With approximately 70 years of economic and industrial activity in Kermanshah, Shokri Industrial Group comprises Bisotun Steel Complex, Jahan Foulad Gharb Complex, Sima Foulad Jahan, Jahan Sanat Kermanshah, a knowledge-based company, and Jahan Bar Foulad. Developing the steel production value chain and establishing connections among specialized companies are among the group’s key areas of activity.
According to information published in the 2026 Iran Steel Yearbook, the Jahan Foulad Gharb Complex project was approved in 2003, its permits were issued in 2004, and construction began in 2005, approximately 35 kilometers from Kermanshah. Trial production at the complex commenced in late 2007.
The complex’s Research and Development (R&D) unit has also developed products such as IPN beams and lightweight beams in response to market needs and export objectives. These products have been developed to diversify the product portfolio and expand the complex’s presence in export markets.

The supply of steel billets is one of the key factors in maintaining the continuous operation of rolling mills. Dependence on billet supplies, along with challenges related to the quality and availability of raw materials, was among the factors that ultimately led to the establishment of the Bisotun Steel Complex in early 2009, helping to further integrate the steel production value chain of Shokri Industrial Group.
Alongside Jahan Foulad Gharb, the Bisotoun Steel Complex operates in the production of direct reduced iron (DRI) and steel billets, Sima Foulad Jahan specializes in rebar production, Jahan Sanat Kermanshah focuses on the design and manufacturing of industrial machinery and equipment, and Jahan Bar Foulad operates in transportation and logistics.
Shokri Industrial Group pursues production development, quality improvement, increased productivity, the adoption of new technologies, research and development, and compliance with environmental requirements across its companies.
The introduction of Jahan Foulad Gharb Complex in the 2026 Iran Steel Yearbook provides a glimpse into the interconnected steel value chain within Shokri Industrial Group—a chain that begins with raw material supply and extends through steel product manufacturing to technical and logistical support.
