The second training course, titled “Introduction to the National Preparedness and Response Plan for Crisis Management,” was held on October 7 and 8, with employees from Jahan Foulad Gharb and Bisotoun Steel participating alongside representatives of several industries in Kermanshah Province. The course took place at the Kermanshah House of Industry, Mining and Trade.
According to the Public Relations Office of Shokri Industrial Group, the course was organized in collaboration with Jahan Foulad Gharb University of Applied Science and Technology, the Training Complex of the Kermanshah House of Industry, Mining and Trade, and the Kermanshah Province Red Crescent Society. Its primary objective was to enhance employees’ knowledge and capabilities in hazard identification, risk assessment, and effective responses to crisis situations.
In addition to employees from Jahan Foulad Gharb and Bisotoun Steel, personnel from Oxygen Bakhtar, Iran Khodro, Pooyesh Chap, and Rozhin also attended the training program. Participants became familiar with specialized crisis management principles and practical strategies for responding to potential incidents.

Practical examples and scenario-based discussions were also used to explore appropriate crisis response strategies and ways to minimize potential consequences.
Given the importance of workforce preparedness in industrial environments and the need to anticipate and manage potential incidents, training programs of this kind play a vital role in strengthening safety culture, raising employee awareness, and improving organizations’ ability to respond effectively to crisis situations.
The course was taught by Shahnaz Alizadeh, an instructor with the Red Crescent Society. Participants will also receive recognized certificates issued by Jahan Foulad Gharb University of Applied Science and Technology and the Red Crescent Society.
Organizing this course represents a step toward expanding practical skills training and aligning education with the real-world needs of industry. It also contributes to improving employee preparedness and strengthening the capacity of industrial facilities across Kermanshah Province to respond to emergency situations.
