The 17th International Mining and Steel Exhibition was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from November 1 to 4, 2023. According to Shokri Group’s public relations, the exhibition consisted of three pavilions featuring European and Asian companies active in logistics, transportation, machinery, mining, and metals. Jahan Foulad Gharb participated in this exhibition to tap into export markets and connect with the global steel section market.
The Technical and Engineering Office Manager of Shokri Industrial Group said that visits from investors and managers of major global industries provided an opportunity for Jahan Foulad Gharb to showcase its capabilities and steel products at the exhibition. Engineer Behrouz Rahimi stated that Jahan Foulad Gharb received significant attention from companies involved in construction and ongoing infrastructure projects. He described the Uzbekistan International Mining Exhibition as the primary international exhibition for the industry, mining, and metallurgy in Uzbekistan, noting that it annually brings together producers and specialists.
This year, the 17th edition of the exhibition featured 180 booths showcasing a comprehensive range of mining and steel technologies, products, and services. The Technical and Engineering Office Manager of Shokri Industrial Group highlighted that the exhibition serves as a commercial platform for thousands of international and domestic buyers and suppliers in mining, geology, geological surveying, and related industries to engage in open dialogue and establish new business connections.
Most visitors to the exhibition were from various cities across Uzbekistan, but there were also attendees from Austria, Azerbaijan, Canada, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Korea, Russia, Spain, and Turkey. The exhibition provides access to information on new technologies and products, offering exhibitors the opportunity to study competitor activities and negotiate for purchases.
