According to the Public Relations Department of Shokri Industrial Group, a fire suppression and emergency response training drill was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to enhance workplace safety standards and strengthen preparedness for potential emergencies. The exercise was organized through the joint collaboration of the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Department of Jahan Foulad Gharb and the Kermanshah Fire Department, with the active participation of employees from Shokri Industrial Group.
The training drill aimed to improve emergency response capabilities, reinforce safety awareness, and equip personnel with the practical skills required to effectively manage fire-related incidents in industrial environments.
The first segment of the program, held in the conference hall of Shokri Industrial Group, focused on theoretical training in workplace safety. Participants were introduced to key topics including fire safety fundamentals, classifications of fire, basic principles of fire response, and the proper use of firefighting equipment.
The session was delivered by Mr. Khoroushidi, who served as the course instructor. During the training, attendees gained essential knowledge of fire management and control principles in industrial environments, strengthening their understanding of preventive measures and emergency response procedures.

The second phase of the program consisted of a hands-on training exercise conducted at the premises of Jahan Foulad Gharb. In this practical session, participants were introduced to different types of fire extinguishers and received guided instruction on their correct usage.
The training covered standard firefighting techniques, including maintaining a safe distance from the source of fire, proper handling of extinguishers, and accurate direction of extinguishing agents toward the fire’s origin. Participants actively practiced these procedures in a controlled environment to reinforce operational readiness and improve response effectiveness in real emergency situations.
This drill was conducted with the aim of enhancing employees’ preparedness for emergency situations, promoting a stronger safety culture within industrial workplaces, and strengthening practical skills in responding to potential incidents. The program was met with strong engagement and active participation from attendees, reflecting a high level of interest in improving safety awareness and emergency response capabilities across the organization.
The implementation of such programs represents an effective step toward enhancing safety awareness and fostering a safer working environment within industrial organizations. Regular training initiatives of this nature play a vital role in strengthening risk prevention practices, improving emergency preparedness, and supporting the development of a sustainable safety culture across industrial workplaces.
