During the week commemorating World Blood Donor Day, the Shokri Industrial Group once again demonstrated its long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility by hosting a mobile team from the Kermanshah Provincial Blood Transfusion Organization and promoting a culture of altruism and public service. The event, held on Wednesday, August 27, was warmly received by employees and culminated in the presentation of special honors, including the titles of “Blood Donation Ambassador” and “Supporters of Hemophilia” to senior executives of the group.
At the sidelines of the program, which aimed to support the urgent needs of patients requiring blood products, Mr. Jahanbakhsh Shokri, Chairman of the Board of the Shokri Industrial Group, expressed appreciation for the presence of the medical team and described blood donation as a symbol of life-giving solidarity. He emphasized that the group considers blood donation not only a humanitarian duty but also an integral part of its corporate social responsibility ecosystem. “We have always sought to facilitate participation and create an environment where our employees can actively contribute to helping others,” he stated.
Dr. Mirzadeh, Director General of the Kermanshah Blood Transfusion Organization, praised the company’s consistent and strong support, describing the Shokri Industrial Group as a “strategic partner” of the national blood transfusion system. He highlighted the readiness of Bisotoun Steel Complex and Jahan Foulad Gharb to respond to urgent and critical blood supply needs in the province, calling the group’s performance a successful model of private-sector engagement in advancing public health.

The main ceremony, attended by several officials, included the presentation of commemorative plaques and honorary titles of “Blood Donation Ambassador” and “Supporter of Hemophilia” to Mr. Jahanbakhsh Shokri and Ms. Shirin Shirzadi in recognition of their structural support and promotion of a culture of compassion and social responsibility.
The event was also attended by Ashkan Zeyneddini, Director of the Thalassemia Association of Kermanshah Province, and Arsalan Mofrad Nasrabadi, Director of the Hemophilia Association. Mr. Mofrad Nasrabadi described the collaboration as a “triangle of humanity,” emphasizing the constructive synergy between the blood transfusion organization, the Shokri Industrial Group, and its workforce. He added that such initiatives not only help address potential shortages in the provincial blood bank but also institutionalize corporate social responsibility as a core organizational value within the industrial sector.
The ceremony concluded with recognition of employee volunteers who donated blood, while both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing cooperation agreements in support of health-oriented initiatives.
