According to the Public Relations Office of Shokri Industrial Group, following the Second International Building Industry Supply Chain Event held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Parsian Hotel in Kermanshah with the participation of industry leaders and guests from Iraq, a delegation of Iraqi investors and executives visited the production lines of Jahan Foulad Gharb, JAHAN SANAT KERMANSHAH (JSK STEEL), and Bisotoun Steel on Monday, September 1, 2025.
During this visit, a joint meeting was held with the Board of Directors of Shokri Industrial Group.
Engineer Jahandar Shokri, Board Member of the Group, expressed readiness to expand cooperation with Iraq’s private sector in the field of construction materials supply. He proposed the formation of a joint consortium between producers in Kermanshah Province and Iraqi construction companies, emphasizing that Shokri Industrial Group and local producers possess the full capacity to execute Iraqi infrastructure projects “from start to finish.”
The Iraqi delegation welcomed this proposal, expressed appreciation for the hospitality of the people of Kermanshah and Shokri Industrial Group, and stressed the importance of continuing bilateral meetings in the near future.
At the conclusion of the visit, an initial understanding was reached:
Iraqi companies will formally submit their requests for construction materials and engineering services to Shokri Industrial Group.
Representatives of the Group will travel to Iraq for on-site visits of key infrastructure projects, especially in border provinces, to conduct a comprehensive market needs assessment.This milestone paves the way for sustainable and effective cooperation between Iran and Iraq in the construction and steel industries.
